Is that more often than not, the drive to the cemetery is often far more spectacular than the cemetery itself.

That was a 200 mile round trip through the desert. It’s beautiful and the people (the few there are) are wonderful. Their burial grounds are just as sacred as anywhere else. That said, for a Victorian era cemetery lover, a 0.75 acre post modern style cemetery doesn’t get my blood flowing the same.
Oh well. I have lots of free time coming up, so perhaps I’ll get over to the Valley more frequently.
